Help! My sister-in-law has a problem with her husband and bizarre sex requests!? My sister-in-law came to me wanting to ask if this was normal. She is from a very religious family, and just got married a year ago (not to my brother). However, she came to me asking if men usually want to take showers with their wives or look at their wives naked, turning the lights on while having sex, or having sex once or twice a month. I don't know if she is still shy, or what is going on. I know she is very conservative religiously, but I don't know what to tell her. Aren't these desires normal for married men? I mean, aren't they pretty much standard? He's not asking for anything that extreme from what I can tell, but I don't know what to tell her. What advice can I give her? Is there anything that won't conflict with her faith? I'm Jewish, so I don't know what to advise her (She's Baptist). Help! | | Yes, perfectly normal. What is odd is that if she is so shy with her own husband that small things like this upset her, why isn't she more shy about talking about them with you, a man who isn't her husband? Makes me wonder if maybe something else is going on there, like she is trying to get you to think about her in sexual situations in a seemingly innocent way... | What is the basis for curious Japanese cultural expressions? In even a cursory look around the internet, one readily finds examples that the Japanese respond apparently quite differently to the "norms" of other societies.
Whether on YouTube, adult oriented sites or elsewhere there seems to be an appreciation for the bizarre.
Many T.V. games shows exhibit extremes of pain, humiliation or nudity/ sex. Sometimes the examples are of singular participants: other times mass orgies of bizarre behaviour or sex.
What motivates this ?
Is it fame, money, recognition -- or just the joy of complete abandonment in a pressure-cooker "sardine-like" environment? | | Money would be my guess. | Why shouldn't teenagers have sex? I see absolutely no harm in teenagers having sex. regardless, as stated there are consequences and you have to be cautious. also adults have the exact same consequences as teens and i have seen adults that should not have even thought about having guyren. so before you go and start dissing teens because they "aren't ready" take a moment and look at yourselves and other adults and quit being so hypocritical! adults are just big teenagers with a little more responsibility. At one point in human history people lived to literally forty years of age... meaning that the teen years where like a midlife crisis. that is why people develop and extreme hormone increase around their teenage years because the body was telling them to go make guys. we have ways of preventing that consequence now. As far as the gov't and religion goes, they have practically brain washed every one of us into these bizarre morals that everyone has simply conformed to without questioning. of coarse there are common sense laws and morals such as don't kill someone, but that is a different subject. also teenagers are going to have a sexual drive no matter what... simply with holding them from the truth forces them to develop unhealthy habits such as porn, and misconceptions.
I would like to hear your thoughts and comments on this subject. if you are for it or against it please tell why. if you are for it at what age do you think it is appropriate and why? | Teens aren't inherently unprepared for sex, but most who have it are.
Birth control and condoms aren't solutions to pregnancy and STDs. They a preventative measures which usually work, but they by no means remove the consequences. You shouldn't be having sex if you aren't prepared to deal with it when they fail as well.
Anyway, I'm not opposed to teenage sex, but I'm opposed to having sex (in general, not among teenagers) for the sake of having sex. | What should I do? Husband *almost* cheated...? My husband and I have been married for 2 years. We've been together for almost 6. We have two beautiful guyren. Last night I found he posted an add to a site looking for more than I am willing to give meaning he was looking for another couple to have bizarre sex with. He swears he hasn't acted on this yet but he did admit he was going to if he got a response.
I told him he needs to pack his things and leave for a while and seek out a therapist. I told him we'll make arrangements for him to see the guys. (Because even though we are having a problem he is still a wonderful father and our guys don't deserve to miss out on that)
Now I am wondering is this too extreme? I'm so hurt but having him leave... will that hurt our guys even more with him moving out for a while?
I am also questioning if I am over reacting? I've never dreamed of having to deal with something like this... he's been falling all over himself apologizing to me... he keeps saying he needs me more than he ever has right now to get through this...
I'm not going to look past this at all though. This IS a big deal...
Any advice please? I am so embarrassed I can't even call a friend to seek comfort. | | You are not being too Extreme. In my opinion you are doing everything right be establishing from the beginning that this guy of sexual behavior is not acceptable to you period. I think it has given him a good dose of reality to find out he has a wife who will not look the other way or give in just to please him. It's a lot different when men hear the threats but when I woman stands behind her convictions they usually stop to see what can really happen..........they lose their wife and family. By having him move out he's already getting a taste of that life. To me, his getting into therapy and marriage counseling with you, plus being tested for STDs would be deal breakers. If he has not been with anyone else he shouldn't mind taking the test but if he has you need to know he didn't bring it home to you. I think as far as how it will affect your guys to have their father move out, as long as he continues to see them, in the long run it will be a much healthier environment than it would be if you two were trying to work this out at home. He has no one to blame for this situation but himself. I think if you stick to your guns your marriage is strong enough, with counseling and therapy, to weather this storm.Just remain firm in the conditions you set before you can even talk about him moving back in. I just don't understand why basically good married men want to risk everything for a little excitement in their sex lives.I guess sometimes they don't think past their own desires and don't really think of about consequences until they experience the consequences.I hope this can be worked out. Just trust your instincts, they have served you well so far. | Is it Phantom or Real?! Bizarre situation here!!? Hey people,
So here goes. The last time I had sex (with a man) was 16th September 2009. I know this is very precise, but I know it so well because I am actually a lesbian and this was a COMPLETE mistake!!
So anyway, I know this sounds utterly bizarre but I have just done two pregnancy tests - one was obviously positive the other was obviously negative. The only reason I have JUST done the tests is because it would seem that I am just showing symptoms.
In the past month by lower abdomen (from just above my pelvic region) up to my belly button has become rather rounded - but not my whole tummy area - and has gotten hard and swollen. My boobs (or rather, just my right one) has grown to hideous extremes.
I haven't had sickness, just nausea and that is a nighttime.
My periods I haven't really followed, but in retrospect they have been squiffy. Like, the month it happened I had one, the month after I didn't, then I was light, then I didn't, then I was light (21day cycle). And before sex with this guy my cramps were HIDEOUS. They would make me physically sick for days - this sickness with my periods, or what of them, has disappeared.
I'm really emotional - pushing my partner off at any opportunity. My libido is at the lowest of the low. I get headaches and dizziness.
Worst of all has to be my heartbeat - it feels as though I'm going to see it pumping out of chest any time soon.
I know I have pretty much displayed the symptoms of pregnancy but I just want to see if there's anyone out there who has had a pregnancy that hasn' displayed until very late on. I mean, if I am I would already be 21weeks gone. All help would be greatly appreciated.
And please don't say I'm stupid or anything, a condom was used but it broke and I was in the middle of changing pills (I was on the pill to control the pains from my periods) - I stopped taking them altogether a few days after this happened.
I'm also only really asking on here because I can't get to a doctor for another three weeks (I have moved 200miles away from my registered NHS doctor and can't get a new registration here).
Thanks people - sorry for the essay!! | It's very possible that you are pregnant.
You did have one positive pregnancy test, and the other one... at home tests have a lot of false negatives. Really, only a blood test and an ultra sound can tell you for sure. If you can't wait for a doctor, try looking into a walk-in clinic near you that gives blood tests.
Have you seen that show? "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" - sometimes symptoms are confused with something else, so I would never call you stupid. These things happen all the time
Good luck! | Long Term Relationship and Sex? Alright… None of this is easy for me to say and frankly it took me almost five hours to post it because I kept freaking out over rather or not I should ask this stupid and bizarre question to begin with.
Even though what you’re about to read is going to sound crazy, it’s true, so please bear with me and just help me out... if you can.
My girlfriend and I have been together for about two years now and we’ve had our ups and downs, our happy and sad times, and just about everything you’d expect from your average, loving relationship. Well, right now things are really looking down south and this is the part that’s hardest to talk about because of how odd it seems….
We’ve been trying to do new things together and trying to make our relationship a lot more fun and enjoyable together. We decided to do something rather drastic that she thought might be eccentric and really help us out, so here goes what it was…. We had sex but rather than regular old sex, we both pissed on one another and some other non-too happy thoughts/things now. The problem is that she actually found this entire situation arousing and worse yet is that she thinks we should expand on this and explore it more because she found it just totally something new to explore… I on the other hand am sitting here nervous as **** wondering what exactly to say to her about how I feel and how she’ll take it. She’s not one to take things to extremes, but even so, I don’t want to rain on her parade… I don’t know rather to just keep exploring these things with her and try to get into the mood or …. Idk… I really need some ideas, please…
| | pee i can handle ill pee on ur happy spot u pee on mine ok id try it but poop no way its stinky its brown and by the way the viet-cong military guys used to rub poo on sharp sticks and bury them in holes for people to step on because if u get poo in a cut or wound u will get an infection sooo bad u can actually die poo is bad if the backside is good and washed its kissable and lickable but only after much washing but its all on u really how grossed out r u if ur not really bothered by it and just find it a little strange play along for a little while see where it goes but if u r horribly disgusted then let her know it make u a little uncomfortable | Because of the attrocities carried out by the FLDS polygamist sect in Texas, do you blame MEN in general now? I am speaking to this sect's practice of pairing older men with age girls to have sex and create multiple guyren from different mothers but one father. I am speaking about this sect's practice of having "marital beds" in their temple area to supposedly carry out religiously sanctioned sex. These practices are absolutely deplorable, detestable and thoroughly condemnable. Personally, it sickens me to think of how these poor women were totally exploited, brain washed. psychologically and sexually abused and probably raped repeatedly for so many years.
Some have attributed this sick and extreme behavior to the sexual, predatory nature of men in being able to dominate and enslave some women for their own selfish and debauched desires. Is that the way you see this? Is the problem just the nature of men in general? Or was this the bizarre and extreme outcome of a sexually corrupt cult headed by a pedophile? | This is an interesting question. In general, it appears that many men want to dominate, although I have met many who don't. I don't think most men would like to carry it to this extreme.
I've met many people who moved to Utah and had to leave quickly. I've been there and met the authoritarian types who think they are above women. It was not a fun experience and I haven't been back.
I'm sure this attitude exists to a lesser degree in other religions and other parts of the United States.
I think the men in the FLDS have established a hierarchy and the lesser men are abused also, but probably not as much as the women. Jeffs has taken away the wives and guyren of some men and given them to other men! No other men in the United States would tolerate that.
That being said, I have to wonder exactly how the fourteen year-old girls get divvied up to these older men. I have a hunch that if you are well liked by Jeffs, you can probably get assigned a lovely fourteen year old girl every few years or so. The less desirable girls probably go to the fellows that aren't willing to kiss up.
To me this looks like the extreme outcome of a sexually corrupt cult headed by a pedophile as you stated above. It looks like Jeffs went overboard to make sure that the people in power got exact what would pleasure them the most. I don't think it has anything to do with religion at all. | OK pretty long ttc do you think I might be pregnant question....? Ok so here I go... Me and my husband are ttc our first guy. This month i ovulated on the 22nd. We had sex on the 11th,12th,13th,17th, 20th,22nd twice on the 26th than once on the 1st of December. I am due for my period on the 5th of this month. I have been taking prenatal vitamins and have been drinking a lot of OJ. I have had some symptoms but i am trying to figure out if it is just AF symptoms or pregnancy symptoms. My boobs started hurting about 3 days ago and its mainly at the bottom of both of my breasts. They do hurt all over its just more obvious in that particular area. Then about 3 days ago I started urinating quite frequently (I don't know what is considered frequent but i would say i went like any were from 9-12 times per day). Its to the point were I would pee than it will hit me all of a sudden like an hour later and i would have to find a bathroom like ASAP! lol. I have also felt some minor cramping/twinging in my lower abdomen. All of these symptoms have been going on for 3 days. I took a hpt but it wasn't an early detection one so it came back negative so I think its to early to test. I have also been craving food (nothing bizarre but just extreme cravings) like fast food which I never really eat but like once a month and I feel like I could eat it like every day!I also never feel full I just want to eat and eat! ANOTHER sign I have had is I watched a movie 2 nights ago and it made be bawl and I am really not the "cry during a movie" type of person. ( it was the movie UP)I also have these dark blueish green veins all over my chest and around my nipples. My nipples seem a tiny bit larger than normal. The tww is driving me a little crazy but if any of you have had these symptoms before it would be great to hear your experiences.Last night I had a dream that I took a hpt and it was positive, so Im hoping that comes true!!!! | If you read the question i posted most recently youll see the same thing has been happening to me, however i have no clue when my period is due to come. I have seen so many signs and symptoms but sometimes your mind can play tricks on you and everything can be psychological. Try not to think about it and see if the symptoms continue. Best of luck to you.... also try this calendar to see if your dates match up for conception and such.

PS dont really listen to everyone on here and in my own experience and as i have seen with others...it seems women who respond to you in the TTC section of yahoo answers usually give you negative responses and tell you not to get your hopes up...and i have seen plenty of women find out they are pregnant after asking YA! users advice. Sometimes women on here especially in ttc are jealous and dont want to see other ppl happy since they too are ttc and are unsuccessful. Just use your gut instinct and take another test...some tests work better and sooner than others .... go to pregnancytestreviews.com i think thats the site... certain tests have the ability to test a lower amount of hcg in the urine therefore are more sensitive and able to detect pregnancy earlier...try first response.
BEST OF LUCK!!!!!! | Is it all in my head? For the last few months I've been coming down with symptoms that don't even seem to fit together. I'm gradually feeling more miserable every day and I'm starting to wonder if it's all in my head. None of it makes sense together and alone the symptoms probably wouldn't be much to worry about... or at least they're tolerable. I can't figure out if there is only one thing wrong with me, more things wrong with me, or maybe absolutely nothing wrong with me.
About seven months ago I stopped getting my period - at all. I haven't had one since. About that same time my feet started swelling really bad. I don't take in a lot of sodium, and I've had no changes in activity level. No trauma or injury to that area - nothing at all. Soon after I completely lost my sex drive. I honestly feel right now like I'd be okay if I never had sex again. Around that time I developed a mild but consistent cough that I have even today. No sputum or anything, but it's gradually becoming more frequent. Sometimes when I eat or drink I choke... This doesn't happen often, but when it does happen it happens all day and sometimes for a couple of days. I have Bipolar 1 disorder, so I normally do go through phases of mania/depression, but lately my depression has greatly intensified followed by a pretty nasty case of paranoia. I would say this level of depression is new for even me. My sleep schedule is so bizarre. I'll go from extreme insomnia to extreme fatigue. I'll stay awake upwards of 60 hours at a time... and then a few days later I'll sleep 60 hours at a time, only getting up to use the restroom and eat once in a blue moon. I have a loss of appetite, at that. My muscles are always sore, and it's become increasingly difficult to get around. I used to have a lot of energy, even though I'm overweight.... but now my breathing becomes labored if I even get out of bed to use the restroom. I'd maintained my weight within a pound or two for the past couple of years, but over the past 7 months I've suddenly gained probably 20 pounds for absolutely no reason. Another thing I've found kind of strange... I can't remember the last time I broke a sweat. I've been out in the heat plenty... I've exerted myself within sweat range plenty of times.... but I just don't seem to sweat anymore. Somewhere around the time I started with the swelling, my chest began to feel funny at very random times. It feels almost like it might be my heart. It's not terribly painful or anything, it just feels like its beating a little bit hard, and like someone threw a bag of sugar at my chest. It lasts for a few seconds and then it goes away as quickly as it started
None of this really makes sense to me, and none of it seems to fit anything I'm familiar with. I'm so tired and so miserable with the way I feel. Is this all in my head? | | I have no medical experience at all, so I can't give you any advice but this - go to a doctor! It definitely sounds serious enough, and if you explain to him/her everything you did here, hopefully they'll be able to tell you what's wrong. I wish you luck. | Why is is ok for the government to put harsh laws on our freedoms and interests? I was looking up some info on ferrdom of speech laws and i found this truetales.org/writings/breakingne…
this is hugely important to both people of alternative sexuality and those who believe in freedom of expression and human rights. There is currently a very real threat to the viewing of ‘extreme’ pornography in the UK. How many films or photographs do you possess in print or on your hard drive of people in bondage, being flogged or whipped, etc? If proposed government legislation goes through then you may be convicted, sent to prison for 3 years and put on the Sex Offenders Register – even if the images are acted and consensual.
Concerned? You should be! It is vital that we act NOW to stop this ridiculous legislation – it will be almost impossible once it is introduced to do anything about it and you may find that many of your favourite LiveJournal communities and adult websites are blocked. It may also mean the end of Bizarre mag | I can only really speak of the U.S. as the U.K. has a slightly different take on civil rights, but I'm sure that there is common ground.
In the U.S., there are the freedoms mentioned in the Constitution, specifically the first amendment, that include freedom of speech, religion, peaceful assembly, and the press. Pretty much the reasons for these freedoms are to allow for peaceful dissent of government policies and a guarantee that it would not be a crime to do so. It's not exactly freedom of expression or freedom to look at certain types of pictures.
However, part of the idea behind freedom is the ability to act as one wishes as long as it doesn't not infringe on the sensibilities of others. One might have the right to freedom of speech, but along with that should be th converse, which is the freedom to avoid it if we choose.
I think that the same can be said of morality. Some people have a sense of morality that tells them that pornography is a wrong that must be stamped out. The converse of this is simply the right to not be impressed onto with that mentality, assuming that it itself is not impressing back.
Obviously, we want to keep pictures of sexual activities away from where everybody would have little choice in seeing it. This would be a clear violation of the avoidance paradigm. But then the question becomes whether or not private viewing by willing persons (consenting adults) is a danger to society.
I do not believe so. Actually, I'll disagree that guy pornography should be prohibited because it "might" lead to criminal behavior, although it should be prohibited because guyren do not truly have the ability to consent. Given that extreme example, the normal stuff where the models/actors, producers, and viewers are all consenting adults is even less of an issue.
The onus of proof of society-threatening behaviour lies with those that contend that pornography is a moral wrong. I do not think that they can demonstrate a causal relationship. Thus, our freedoms should then include the right to view legitimately-produced material.
I suspect that is the government attempts to regulate this too far that there will be a significant backlash. Unlike the USA PATRIOT act, which places restrictions that I disagree with but still has claims of national benefit, there would be no valid reason for targeting what we choose to read and what we choose to view other than pandering for votes from what I perceive to be a minority in our country. I suspect that with the right argument, there would be enough citizens that would challenge such an assault on freedom of this type. At least I hope so and hope that most of us subscribe to the words of Voltaire, "I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
Hope that gives a proper answer to your question. |
